Mission Statement of the EAA-Working Group AEROSOL CHEMISTRY (AC)

Chemistry plays an important role in aerosols, influencing their properties and fate that are of key relevance to a wide range of different disciplines in aerosol research. This EAA-Working group covers all scientific and engineering topics of aerosol chemistry from the molecular level to regional and global scales such as:

Smog chamber experiments Instrumentation for chemical characterization of aerosol Secondary Organic Aerosol (SOA) Molecular characterization of aerosol constituents Identification of tracers Chemical mechanisms and transformation processes in aerosol Multiphase chemical processes and interactions involving aerosol Bioaerosol.

The aerosol chemistry working group provides a platform for discussions and exchange of the latest aerosol chemistry results and related instrumentation.
