There is an opening in Politecnico di Torino in the framework of an European project and a national project (PRIN). This is a research contract for 12 month (1 year) in the field of micro-scale modeling of nano-particle transport in porous media. The project is related to groundwater remediation through nano-scale zero-valent iron particles and is a collaboration with another department in Politecnico. The work will be carried out with CFD (Gambit and Fluent) as well as open-source and commercial Dissipative Particle Dynamics codes.
