Aerosol measurement in the workplace is essential for assessing potential health risks of workers. Requirements for instrumentation are manifold and depend on local settings, including particle sources and ventilation. The state of the art measurement technology will be explained in the tutorial along with strategies for exposure assessment in workplaces. Finally results from aerosol measurements in different workplaces will be presented.
